Wrensilva is pleased to announce that ALL current and future M1 and Standard One record console orders now include split plinth construction in the turntable deck.
What this means is that the turntable motor is no longer directly connected to the same assembly that includes the turntable platter and the tone arm, serving to isolate motor noise and prevent it from being picked up by the needle.
It's a familiar concept, but rarely employed in the audio world as it involves more complicated construction. But because it's one more level of isolation that ensures clarity of sound from our consoles, we're all over it. We think it looks pretty cool too.
