A Listening Session at the Wrensilva Listening Studio in West Hollywood

Nestled in the heart of West Hollywood lives the LA Wrensilva Listening Studio. Whether you're a vinyl collector, an audiophile, a casual listener, or simply someone who appreciates high-fidelity sound, this space offers a hands-on way to experience Wrensilva record consoles.

  • Designed by Christian Schulz

The studio was designed by Christian Schulz of Studio Collective, a Venice-based boutique design agency known for projects like Hotel Figueroa in Downtown LA and The Bungalow at The Fairmont Hotel in Santa Monica. Schulz’s design approach emphasizes the intersection between atmosphere and aesthetics, which aligns with Wrensilva’s own commitment to craftsmanship and intentional design.

  • What Happens During a Listening Session?

A Wrensilva advisor guides each session, walking visitors through console models, finishes, and customization options. You can spin a record from your own collection—an opportunity to hear familiar music with a new level of detail—or choose from Wrensilva’s curated record collection, which ranges from classics to modern pressings. Sessions are intentionally flexible: part technical demo, part personal exploration

  • A Gallery of Sound and Culture

Beyond its role as a listening space, the studio doubles as a gallery. The current installation highlights iconic Blue Note Records album artwork accompanied with its original photography by label co-founder Francis Wolff. The gallery is always evolving, with a new installation coming very soon

    Booking Your Experience

The studio is open for both walk-ins and scheduled appointments, though booking online ensures a dedicated session. For anyone interested in high-end design and high-fidelity audio, it’s a chance to experience vinyl playback at a level that’s difficult to replicate elsewhere.
Music was meant to be heard like this.
