Vinyl is no longer a hobby hiding in the basement. With US record sales exceeding $1 billion in 2025, it has moved into the living room, the kitchen, the bedroom—the rooms people actually live in.
The problem is that most setups weren't designed for those spaces. They're a chain of components that need to be managed, housed, and rarely look like something you'd want to see every day.
Wrensilva has spent a decade solving exactly that—creating record consoles that work as furniture, audio equipment, and objects worth noticing, without asking you to compromise on any of it. Wrensilva has introduced Studio as the next step: a compact, versatile record console featuring Wrensilva's signature sound, built for the spaces where high-end audio has always deserved to live but never quite fit.
Studio is a natural evolution for Wrensilva, combining locally sourced North American Walnut, considered materials, a lasting design, and the aesthetic refinement expected by a discerning music lover. It was designed with two animating questions in mind: “What do Wrensilva homes want, and how would our customers want to live with this?”
To that end, the team, helmed by Co-Founder and Head of Design Debra Salyer, experimented for months with shapes, sizes, and proportions before landing on the final quadrilateral design, at a height that makes it easy to drop the needle on your favorite record.
The elements core to Wrensilva record consoles are there—rich woods, vinyl storage space, and built-in speakers. Add in an acrylic lid that evokes classic stereophonic record players, but is fashioned in a heftier, finer acrylic in a translucent shade of smoke. And, because Wrensilva is devoted to the idea that music listening is a fully immersive experience, the design team focused on Studio’s dreamy, atmospheric elements, too. “One of my favorite details is that at night, because the deck is lit, you can put on a record and close the lid, and the whole thing just glows,” Debra said. “It creates a warm, fireplace vibe within the room.”

Just 31 inches wide and perched on a solid but airy aluminum base brushed in a fine anodized finish, Studio’s size allows it to fit neatly within the modest footprint of a city apartment, but its versatility means it can easily be rearranged into the rec room, guest room, or even the foyer. Its sleek, adaptable charm can slot into any decor scheme. You could imagine it flowing seamlessly into a Frank Lloyd Wright living room, just as easily as it could function as the grounding piece in a Memphis Group-inspired bedroom—an eye-focusing element that invokes the natural world amid a sea of bright colors. And its durability means it can also translate to a quality heirloom piece, meant to be passed between generations.
Studio features a front door with an undulating pattern carved directly into the wood grain—textural, three-dimensional, and immediately recognizable. The detail is deliberate: the carved pattern diffuses sound waves from the speakers, giving every Wrensilva its full, immersive sound. That relationship between form and function was the foundation of the creative challenge for Studio—designing a smaller console that still meets Wrensilva's demanding listening standards, without the component-hunting and frequent disappointment that comes with building a high-fidelity system on your own.
Studio’s generational-quality craftsmanship extends to its internal elements, too—down to its hand-crafted speaker crossovers, designed to ensure the audio maintains Wrensilva’s signature sound within a much smaller speaker area. To configure the speakers’ electronic components to their smaller, enclosed size, each element was custom-tuned until it sounded voluminous.
Once the team felt confident in the design and performance of Studio, they sat down for tunings with several close collaborators including Grammy-winning mix engineer Manny Marroquin (Rosalía, Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar), and record producer Giles Martin (The Beatles) to ensure Studio upholds Wrensilva’s iconic sound. If these trusted music creators found the listening experience was off in any way to their trained ears, it was back to the lab, unspooling wire by hand, making adjustments by a matter of millimeters until arriving at the perfect configuration.
“We ask them to reverse their process,” explained Scott Salyer, Co-Founder and Wrensilva’s Head of Audio. “Normally, they're mixing a song on speakers that they trust. Here, we ask them to take a song that they trust—a song they mixed—and help tune the speaker to sound the way it should sound.”
